It looks like Dick Tracy may finally get his wristwatch cell phone, the one that does video calls.

Carter: Wilson comments 'based on racism'
Tue Sep 15, 2009Great posting!
Political leaders got to stop instigating racial differences. I guess that having a black President is a testimony that Caucasians and Latinos support a black President. Blacks are living in the past and Whites cannot voice their disagreements with the President because they are called racists.
Ooh, Free health care? I understood that we would pay health insurance premiums the same way we pay car insurance? Yes from Obama's speech. Free?
Ignorance is bliss it is often better not to know about something! You protesters are ignorant! Let everyone get sick and die because they do not have health insurance. Or better yet; let's allow uninsured people to drain the health care system at the expense of responsible companies who provide or individuals who purchase health care insurance. OK; here's another scenario...let's have the protesters go and help all those who do not have health insurance get infected by those with H1N1.... When a protester or a protesters loved one dies of the H1N1 or any other preventable health care disease; this is when they will finally realize; maybe health care for everyone regardless of financial status is essential
Where were you when your president was running up the biggest deficit in this country's history when he invaded Iraq with the biggest lie in history and gave all those very wealthy Americans all those tax breaks and you didn't get any. And here you are now protecting the interest of all those ceo's of all those insurance companies and drug companies who make all those millions of dollars in salaries and bonuses. I hope that you have the guts to fight for what is really right in this great country of ours. I did see any of you conservative protesting the war in Iraq that bankrupt this country. So don't give me that nonsense.
You are stupid, not to mention disrespectful. God does not like ugly, be sure not to look in the mirror anytime soon.
Where I live, everybody is having at least three or more kids. Trouble is, the kids all have a different daddy, Medicaid pays for them to be delivered, and they live on Welfare. They seem to be doing nicely. They drive a better car than me. To pay taxes into this system, you have to earn some money; otherwise, you just live off it. Too many people, rich and poor, are learning to "work the system".
Keep up the good fight dewintre200!
"A Concerned Citizen" is the biggest oxy moron on here! I appreciate your response to their ridiculous rationale and of course name callings. You should read what they wrote in reply to my comment on Immigrant Highway! Obviously, some of these people never took debate in high school or know how to look at both sides diplomatically. Have a good one :)
I have to say I have read some of your responses, and I must admit I feel that your answers our intelligent, well articulated, and interesting. I know sometimes when I read these comments I come away feeling like why did I waste my time on this, but after reading some of your feedback I feel like you could be one to learn something from. Anyway, I just wanted to say keep up the good work.
Great posts on the "immigrant highway."
you know that it was HW Bush that was behind the JFK killing and you are correct all of the rhino's are neocons aka Nazi's. So our choice is is left communism and right is nazi's. Cooool
When I was a youngster, I was taught that sex was dirty and sinful. We're gone from that point to "anything goes" in today's society.
I think it's sad that we've been such poor stewards of something so beautiful. God made both man and woman. And, I find it difficult to believe that he made anything that is dirty or vulgar. Parents are the ones that should teach their children to understand and respect their bodies. Teach them how precious and beautiful the sexual union is meant to be between a man and a woman. Without sex, the human race would die out.
We have become so permissive in today's age that it is little wonder that these youngsters are sending such pictures via their cell phones. Nor is it any wonder that we have violence running rampant in our society. Take a good look at the movies, magazines, books, electronic games, and so forth. They are all filled with sex, drugs, and violence. We have gone on a drunken binge with them and money. The children cry because they don't have the latest designer clothes, the most up-to-date computer games, cell phones and so on. And, the parents give in and give them everything. It has come to the point that we are advertising and saying "It's all about me!" Me, me, me, mine, mine, mine.
Whatever happened to moderation, self control, discipline, and morals? The current state of our country (and the world in general) clearly shows what gluttony, greed, promiscuous behavior, self-centered and selfish attitudes have done. It's long past time to sober up and realize that such things do not provide happiness. Giving of one's self is far more fulfilling and gratifying.
As to the shenanigans of these youngsters, I say they should be tarred and feathered and then burned at the stake! Ridiculous? Yes it is - they are experimenting with life, a natural sequence of events in the growing and maturing process. To convict them of child porn is ridiculous. The parents and the whole village should hang their heads in shame for their failure to give their children the time, love, and attention they need. Many will say, "I do give them my time - all of it." "I drive them to their dance and music lessons, soccer games, football practice, baseball games, shopping, everything." The problem here is that they (the parents) are getting their children too involved in too many activities. Whatever happened to family time? Meals together as a family, going to church, synagogue, temple, whatever. Teaching our children how much fun it is to help others that are less fortunate. Helping that little old lady or gentleman with chores that they can no longer do. Organizing food drives, fund raisers and so forth to assist the homeless.
Most people probable don't know (and, even worse, don't care) that Mother Teresa was born to an extremely wealthy family. As a young lady, she gave it all up for a life in poverty in which she could assist others. She had a life far more fulfilling than anything money could have bought her.
Let us all sober up from the years of excess and take a new direction that will return our nation to its once great status!

I find it interesting how the "Community" are so narrow minded that they only want ONE point of view.
I think a lot of your comments are right on!
